The American Case for Taiwan The Heritage Foundation 28 Mar 2024 Keeping Taiwan free from the grasp of the Chinese Communist Party is a vital interest of the United States. An attack on the democratic, self-governing island by the People’s Republic of China would gravely threaten the security and prosperity of everyday Americans. This represents just one of the key conclusions reached in the landmark research paper published this month by Heritage Research Fellow Michael Cunningham, The American Case for Taiwan. This was driving me crazy. Ive been investigating Chinese American associations ties with the United Front such as "Coordination Council of Chinese American Associations" (CCCAA) and its 35 Hometown Associations. Theres various affiliations between these Chinese American associations in Washington DC with the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) a central part of the Chinese Communist Party's united front system. They invite United Front leadership in to consult on chinese embassy supported lobbying campaigns and chinese american voting activities (to sway chinese american votes in Beijings favor). Such as the case of Lily Qi of Maryland. Well theres another connection between CCCAA, odd relationships with the Chinese embassy, and american politicians like Lily Qi (Maryland State Delegate). Thats former U.S. Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao who's married to THE Mitch McConnell. https://lnkd.in/g5nCgaUK Elaine actively meets with the CCP representing her family's shipping company and other business deals. The Washington Post's "Fact Checker" similarly reported that "Secretary Chao has no interest, ownership or involvement in the company." - I would say that's FALSE.
