Great leaders are great listeners. Being a leader should not be viewed as a license to increase the volume of rhetoric. Astute leaders know there is far more to be gained by surrendering the floor than by dominating it. Show me a leader who doesn’t recognize the value of listening to others, and I’ll show you a train wreck in the making. According to Mark Graban, I’ve heard leaders complain that “my employees won’t speak up.” Instead of labeling them as bad or uncaring employees, these same leaders should maybe look in the mirror and ask themselves how their people ended up that way. Listening is a core aspect of what Toyota calls “Respect for People?” However, many people in leadership positions don’t listen; they may be hearing but are not listening. While some may be impressed with how well you speak, the right people will be impressed with how well you listen. Inspire your team with our Amazon bestseller, "Unlock the Hidden Leader: Become The Leader You Were Destined To Be." This book has already transformed countless leaders; now it's your turn. Great leaders inspire by lifting others, not by stealing the spotlight.

Many leaders fail at this. Being a Leader is about listening. Do not wait for the speaker to pause, so you can comment. Do not wait for the speaker to pause so you can interject with your reasonings. ☑ Just listen. ☑ Take note of what they're saying. ☑ Make note of your thoughts. ☑ Write down some questions to ask them. Before adding in your perspective: ☑ Be Curious. ☑ Learn. ☑ Understand the why. Engage in healthy discussion. Not every discussion needs to be a debate. Be a leader: listen, understand, support.

Be like a sponge, Absorb the words and emotions of others. Truly listen, With an open heart and a free mind. Don't seek to dominate the conversation, But give space to the voices of others. It's a form of respect, that creates connection and mutual understanding. Every person has a story to tell, and Listening can reveal hidden treasures. Listening is a precious gift. Because only through authentic listening, you can Truly connect and grow

It's so true! Hearing is absolutely different from listening; whoever has been listened to always tries their best to do more! Listening is the core value of all great and successful leaders
