Today the U.S. Department of the Treasury released the Final Rule on the increased credit for Prevailing Wage & Apprenticeships under the Inflation Reduction Act. In response to Tribal consultations, two Tribal Special Rules were adopted in the Final Rule that addresses: (1) circumstances involving Tribal government employment; & (2) Tribal lands. Fatima Abbas, this update on the Final Rule under the Inflation Reduction Act is incredibly important. The inclusion of Tribal Special Rules, particularly addressing Tribal government employment and Tribal lands, is a significant step forward in recognizing and addressing the unique needs of Tribal communities. The U.S. Department of the Treasury's responsiveness to Tribal consultations is commendable and highlights the importance of inclusive policy-making.  Thank you for sharing this vital information.
