I'm very passionate about quality and timely healthcare provision. Perhaps it is because all of us will need access to healthcare at some point in our lives, and as patients, what is most important in our care is firstly getting the quality of care we need and when we need it. Therefore, it is reassuring to see from the Philips Future Health Index 2024 that healthcare leaders in APAC are taking bold and thoughtful changes to deliver better care for more people. The report highlights key strategies such as improving operational efficiencies through workflow prioritization, data integration, and AI-enabled innovation to improve patient care. An interesting finding is APAC healthcare leaders’ growing interest in adopting generative AI, a trend that could significantly shape the future of healthcare. Whether you are in the healthcare industry or not, the report is an interesting read and may have different takeaways. For healthcare professionals, it offers insights on how to improve patient care. For organizational leaders, it provides strategies for enhancing operational efficiencies. And for all, it offers a glimpse into how we can expect the future of healthcare to unfold. I would love to connect if you would like to discuss more, you can read the full report findings here. https://lnkd.in/gJ9Q9Kfp #Philips #Healthcare #FutureHealth

There’s nothing artificial about this intelligence! Just back from The Pharmacy Show, and like many exhibitors, I'm still waiting for my feet to stop throbbing and return to normal size! But the energy and value from the event certainly made it all worthwhile. In my view, this year’s show was the best yet. It showcased remarkable advancements in med tech, medical services, and, of course, the pharmacy business. But beyond the cutting-edge solutions, what really stood out to me was something more fundamental: the often-overlooked value of in-person events like this. In a world that’s increasingly virtual, hybrid, and remote, it’s easy for us marketeers to focus on measurable, direct-response channels. However, nothing compares to the impact of face-to-face interactions. Connecting with trade partners, industry leaders, even competitors, is one thing. But the insights gained over a simple coffee and a chat with customers are irreplaceable. It’s this real-world exchange that fosters a deeper understanding—insights that no survey or remote strategy can truly capture. As we plan future investments, it’s crucial to remember the unique value of these in-person moments. They are opportunities that no amount of remote communication can replicate. Just wishing I had gone back to visit the foot health stand!

"One Final Comment." Several weeks ago, Philips hosted a one-of-a-kind, "Connect 2024," where they brought in teams from 80+ countries from the Growth Region for a 4-day interactive and learning session with one common goal (as per my experience): "ELEVATE." Each of us took it upon ourselves to understand the core competency of the products and solutions, distinctive value proposition, business positioning, and strategy drivers. 400+ people 4-days 40+ sessions Four networking nights 4 hours of sleep Result: A strong resilience towards the commitment of #empathywithcare towards patients, providers, partners, and people. Towards the final hour, Bas van Breugel asked to share our feedback from the week-long get-together, and out of nowhere, standing right in the far-far back, I raised my hand to share one final comment. Even though I had completely lost my voice, I did hours-long discussions with the team, product managers, and others earlier in the day. Vitor Hugo Cid was kind enough to pass on the mic. And those were my final words before the conclusion of the best event of my life! Can you guess what I would have said? Comment below. P.S. Stay tuned for part II.

A very interesting write-up on possibly a dull topic -- audience-centered seating -- for many in the business events industry. But if you care about #customer #experience, you will have a lot of aha moments once you go through it. We talk a lot about how customers are getting more demanding and are constantly looking for ways to stretch their dollar at events. Most often, #organizers resort to value-added services to address their concerns. It could range from free delegate passes and complimentary parking at venues, to discounts, sponsored-collaterals in the swag bag, and assured lead generation at events. Sometimes, it works, and other times, it doesn't. We don't have tools to measure the success of our value-add services, and don't get bothered as long as we have repeat client(s). Rarely do we get into the nitty-gritties of customer experience, like discussing the seating room arrangements to enhance immersion at events or visitor-friendly floor plans to augment experience. But these things matter. They are at the center of customer experience. It's qualitative and reflects on the surveys and NPS scores of events, if there is one. When we talk about customer experience, digital technology hogs all the limelight. Sometimes, just focusing on the right seating arrangement might do the trick. #meetinIndia #eventprofs #tradefairs #conferences #AI PS: Hat tip to Liz Lathan, CMP for sharing and bringing this to attention. https://lnkd.in/dtPNPhHN

BIG news! I’m excited to share that we have officially released our new service “Voxo Event”! ⭐️ As you may have seen, we have shared news and updates about our AI-services at events with companies such as Techarenan, Monterro and others during the last year. Since 2021 Voxo has been building and perfecting the solution so that it can bring completely new values to all parties of an event and use AI in a way that enhances the whole event experience! I mean, wouldn’t you like to be at two stages at once as an attendee sometimes? Or get a full summary to bring home to the organisation after an event? 🔝 Or - as an organizer - be able to share realtime insights on the screens during the event? Or be able to share summaries and reports that prolongs the life and value of the event for weeks or even months after the last keynote? 📈 If you feel this sounds interesting, or just want to know more, visit our Voxo Event page at https://voxoevent.ai or send me a message and we’ll talk more! PS. Thank you Eventeffect for sharing the news about us yesterday! We hope to be able to share more soon about the next part of our service that is yet to be announced! Next week, I will be in Berlin to attend the UX360Summit together with my colleague Julie Hendriks from Norstat Netherlands. 🏢 The list of speakers and companies is impressive. I compared it with our CRM and saw that we have been working with 25% of the companies. 🙌 My bragging list includes Zalando, idealo internet GmbH, eBay Deutschland, SumUp, trivago, Deutsche Telekom, Chefkoch GmbH.... 🎣 On the contrary, there are 75% of customers which haven't worked with us. Some companies on my wishlist are Skyscanner, MediaMarktSaturn, ZDF, Duolingo, Bentley Systems, Lyst... 💬 I bet I won't be bored networking in Berlin! 🤗 Few closing questions: 1. Are you going to be there or do you know anyone I should meet? 2. How do you prepare a conference? Any insider tips? 3. What insider tip do you have for Berlin? Thanks for your support! 🙏
