Corporate College recently had the incredible opportunity to host executive leaders from 100 Black Men of America, Inc. for their executive leadership retreat. I had the privilege of leading a session titled "Education's Post-Pandemic Evolution: What We Provide Matters," and later joined Herman Bulls, vice chairman and international director at JLL, to discuss "Organizational Leadership, Governance, and Impact." Educational leaders, how do you see the role of education evolving in the post-pandemic world?
Cuyahoga Community College's Corporate College recently hosted executives from 100 Black Men of America, Inc., for their annual retreat. We’re proud to announce that we are exploring an opportunity to further partner with 100 Black Men of America through their Collegiate 100 program, a campus-based student organization that supports the development of the social, emotional and educational needs of youth who need positive role models. We can’t wait to see this program uplift our community!

A Consequential Education at Gettysburg College makes an impact for our graduates long into the future. In a report by the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce: ROI of Liberal Arts Colleges, Gettysburg College is ranked No. 29 and No. 32 among liberal arts colleges for 10-year and 40-year Net Present Value (NPV), respectively. Net Present Value (NPV) refers to how much a sum of money in the future is valued today when taking into account costs, future earnings, and the length of time required to invest and earn a specific amount over a fixed horizon. In an analysis of 40-year return on investment (ROI) of 4,500 colleges and universities, Gettysburg ranks in the top 1% in the nation among liberal arts colleges for lifetime ROI, according to the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce. This past Wednesday, Metropolitan College of New York's new president, Charles J. Gibbs, EdD, convened his first gathering of the college's faculty and staff. As the smiles below clearly indicate, my colleagues and I stand ready to eagerly support President Gibbs as the college pursues its important goals in the days, weeks, months, and years ahead. (Apologies to any member of my MCNY LinkedIn network who I did not tag. Please tag them in your comments.) #MCNY #ThePowerOfPurpose #MCNYForward #GettingItDone
