Intermittent fasting has been a trending health topic lately, but is it really as beneficial as we once thought? Recent studies are bringing up some concerns. While it may seem like a good idea to limit your eating window to 8 hours a day, a study by the American Heart Association suggests that doing so could increase your risk of heart disease by 91%. Furthermore, a study showed that the expected biochemical response from intermittent fasting may not occur in hours, but rather over 5 to 7 days(https://lnkd.in/dkvsMCbh). That’s why it's important to always stay up-to-date on medical research and consult with a healthcare professional before making any significant changes to your diet.

✨Which do you prefer for health: Pills or Conscious Eating !! Obesity has become a significant global health challenge, affecting millions of people across all age groups. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines obesity as an abnormal or excessive fat accumulation that presents a risk to health, with a BMI of 30 or higher. Since 2022, the demand for semaglutide has surged due to this growing health challenge. 💡Why Semaglutide is Gaining Global Recognition ? 1. Semaglutide is a medicine that is primarily used to treat type 2 diabetes by helping to lower blood sugar levels and reducing the risk of major cardiovascular events. Most semaglutide is injected under the skin once a week, but it is also available in a daily oral tablet form. 2. Semaglutide is highly effective in significantly reducing body weight in obese or overweight adults with related health issues. By injecting semaglutide, it reduces appetite, leading to weight loss. But do we really need to rely on medicine, or can we adopt healthier habits instead? By incorporate mindful/conscious eating into our daily lives and make a significant difference in our live. When was your last blood test? A year ago? Maybe two? Everyone should have a comprehensive blood test to establish a baseline of values for key biomarkers. Then, repeat the blood test for comparison over time. I like to remind everyone that health isn't one-size-fits-all, so how often you should retest depends on your particular health concerns. I recommend blood work at least annually. A crucial part of this process is making sure that your doctor is aware of your family health history and testing for specific biomarkers that will give you clear indications of your current and future health. I just completed a 72-hour water fast! As it sounds, you only drink water for a set period, and in this case, for 72 hours. But, why?? Water fasting has been shown to have many potential health benefits, such as reducing hypertension, improving heart health, killing cancer cells, and playing a part in reversing type 2 diabetes, amongst other illnesses. Extended fasting may stimulate autophagy — a cellular process that clears out damaged or malfunctioning cells and proteins. It's like hitting the refresh button on your cells, contributing to your overall cellular health. Check this podcast out for actions we can all take to reduce our risk of cancer, and all the chronic conditions driven by metabolic disruption. https://lnkd.in/g5t7ktjy As with anything, it's not for everyone -- so read up on potential risks for your particular health and body and discuss it with your physician prior to giving it a shot. Disclaimer: Warn your loved ones you will be EXTREMELY hangry 😅 #WaterFast #Health #Wellness #WaterFasting
