𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: This instance perfectly illustrates the inevitable inaccuracies that come with breaking news when striving to be the first to report. The headline “sounded like gunfire” instead of “attempted assassination” sparked widespread criticism. Commentators accused the FT of downplaying the gunshots as “noise” or propagating “falsehoods.” But this plays right into the hands of the fake news narrative. So quality should come before speed! But most media strive for attention, therefore we need to consume news from different political sides to get an unbiased view on global events! This is one of the most frightening photos I’ve seen in the last 80 days. It’s a picture of a balloon being launched near JFK International Air Terminal on purpose. It’s being launched by the pro Hamas protesters to interfere and make their position known. I guess they didn’t think attempting to block off the airport was enough. In case you didn’t know, interfering with a flight is a federal offense. If this balloon gets near an airplane or interferes with its takeoff or landing, hundreds of passengers could die. Where is Pete Buttigieg, Secretary of Transportation? Where is the National Guard? Where is the governor of New York? Where is the FBI? Where is Chuck Schumer, the highest ranking elected Jewish official in the United States? Where is the President of the United States? Why aren’t any of these people or organizations outraged and why aren’t they taking action? Do we need to have a mid air collision or some other type of airplane catastrophe for somebody to take action? #stopantisemitism #israel
