By blocking Department of Energy permits for LNG export projects, the Biden administration has put in motion two very concerning issues for the United States. The first is damaging blue collar jobs, and the second, and perhaps worse is increasing worldwide emissions. While the Troy Companies will weather this storm, we will also stand by and fight for our incredible employees. For many in our workforce, the difference between receiving a DOE permit for these multibillion-dollar projects means having jobs to provide for their families, putting food on the table, and the ability to go to work.   Secondly, the facts are clear, for every tanker of LNG exported across the globe, it directly offsets the use of coal around the world. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, natural gas emits almost 50% less CO2 than coal. As a global leader, it is the United States' responsibility to help achieve global emission reductions through the use of available technologies at the scale needed for global power demand. That technology is LNG Export terminals. We need to reverse this decision so we can put our people back to work and work together to lower worldwide emissions simultaneously. This is a win-win for everyone.

Much respect to Troy Companies for being politically vocal - God, Family & Country are the 3 most important things, & are under attack politically

This administration seems unable to foresee consequences of policies 5 minutes from now much less weeks and months into the future. Not a fan.

Dear Troy Companies: Well put. You actually _understate_ some of the benefit for Gulf Coast LNG exports. Most of those go to EU, particularly Germany. After Ukraine, Germany reverted to burning lignite, possibly the most polluting coal type. Lignite emits about 15% greater CO2 than regular coal. It's open pit mined, so mining means more population displacement. And there are more disadvantages (dust, noise, groundwater contamination). These are our allies. We need to support them.
