Earlier this week, together with a few of Talent Acquisition team members Rachna R. and Mitchell Arts from The HEINEKEN Company we participated in the Global People #DiversityDinner. Under the inspiring motto of 'Food Brings People Together,' Global People organised the largest diversity dinner in the Netherlands, bringing together around 30 employers and 350 diverse young professionals through objective recruitment by The Selection Lab —no old-fashioned CVs, just intelligent, scientifically substantiated, talent-driven matching. You might wonder, how does this work? The Diversity Dinner is all about "sitting down at the table" with top multicultural talents. The concept is simple: each company hosts eight candidates who meet their organization’s requirements. In our case, we looked for individuals embodying our HEINEKEN Behaviours outlined below: 1️⃣ Play to win and celebrate success 2️⃣ Deliver the goods 3️⃣ Think consumers first 4️⃣ Make courageous moves 5️⃣ Champion a culture of belonging 6️⃣ Learn, share, and reapply 7️⃣ Have real conversations 8️⃣ Embrace learning and growth Throughout the evening, we engaged with these talented individuals, sharing our personal experiences at The HEINEKEN Company and discussing what we seek in future team members. We also offered tips on interview preparation and how to articulate the unique value they can bring to an organisation. I am incredibly proud to work for a company that is committed to becoming an inclusive, fair, and equitable organisation. At The HEINEKEN Company, we believe that embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion sparks joy and fosters a sense of true togetherness. 🌍💚 Looking forward converting a few of these talents into The HEINEKEN Company and teams. #DiversityDinner #Inclusion #Diversity #TheHEINEKENCompany #Togetherness #TalentAcquisition

(I'm trying to get better at posting my milestones on here 🤗) About two weeks ago now I had the pleasure of interviewing Kobi Ampoma for the Equals Diversity, Equity and Inclusion circle. Kobi is the Talent Acquisition lead at Heineken, a huge DEI advocate, and an absolute pleasure to talk to. We discussed how he got into DEI work, his work as a mentor to young professionals and how authenticity is one of his core values. One powerful thing that I will remember for years to come is this simple question that Kobi shared. When negotiating contracts as a marginalised person, Kobi recommends you ask the recruiter or manager: "Am I being compensated at the same level as my peers with the same experience as me, within your company?" This challenges companies to compare the salary that you were offered with their standard rates and reflect on their compensation practises. Will you join us at the next DEI circle?

Inspiring words from Ram Krishnan, CEO of one of our Top 100 Global Inspiring Workplaces winner PepsiCo 👏 In his post Ram asks... what changes have you seen or implemented in your workplace to prioritize sustainability and workplace culture? Join the discussion below...
I’m proud to be part of a team that truly invests in its people. Through my time spent out in the market and meeting with teams across our organization, it's apparent that our people are our greatest asset. Thus, I’m excited to share that PepsiCo Beverages North America has been named one of the 2024 Top 100 Inspiring Workplaces in North America. Guided by The PepsiCo Way, this recognition is a testament to our unwavering commitment to putting people first and creating an inspiring workplace that prioritizes sustainability and the employee experience. Anyone who enters our doors has the space to be their authentic selves, feel a sense of belonging, and have equal access to building a meaningful career. But this isn't accomplished alone... our vibrant and inclusive culture is cultivated through collaborative efforts - a principle I've found helps build resilient teams and drive sustained success. I’m curious… what changes have you seen or implemented in your workplace to prioritize sustainability and workplace culture? Let’s discuss. #PepsiCoProud #PeopleFirst #ASpaceToBeYou

Regional Head of HR Europe @ Henkel 🔴 Human Resources 🔴 Enabling business through the power of people
🌈 Proud to have participated in this year's PRIDE Parade in Amsterdam! 🌈 At Henkel, diversity and inclusion are not just buzzwords—they are core values that shape our workplace and our actions. Being part of PRIDE was a powerful reminder of why embracing diversity and fostering an inclusive environment matters so much. Here are a few reasons why diversity and inclusion are vital – for Henkel as well as for me personally: 1. Innovation and Creativity: Diverse teams bring different perspectives and ideas, driving innovation and creative problem-solving. 2. Employee Engagement: Inclusive workplaces foster a sense of belonging, leading to higher employee satisfaction and engagement. 3. Better Decision-Making: Varied viewpoints enhance decision-making processes, resulting in more comprehensive and effective solutions. 4. Market Competitiveness: Companies that prioritize diversity are better positioned to understand and meet the needs of diverse markets. 5. Moral and Ethical Responsibility: It's simply the right thing to do. Supporting diversity and inclusion reflects the commitment to equality and human rights. Let's continue to champion diversity and inclusion, not just during PRIDE, but every day. A big thank you to all colleagues joining and preparing Henkel’s presence at the PRIDE Parades!
