I have finally completed my last (long) video. Making videos for the Parkinson's community has been a 3 year project (starting during Covid). There are a total of 29 of these videos addressing walking, transfers, postural hypotension, how physical therapy can help people with PD and instructional videos for caregivers. Sharing a blog I co-wrote along with my colleague Simran Toor who also made a beautiful data visual to encapsulate life before and after becoming a caregiver. This was based off a research done by our team called The Caregiving Lab from Noora Health, called Project Marlin that was a deep dive into understanding the experiences of caregivers of patients with life threatening/high risk illnesses. These are caregivers of extreme cases and also low income groups who have several barriers in attaining care within the Indian landscape. We also have published a booklet that delves into the nuances of these stories and how they have navigated challenges in this journey called ‘Through the eyes of a caregiver’ that was artfully expressed by Charley Vincent from our team, linked in the blog.
