I must confess that this event is really timely! After the Insightfull Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism (WSCIJ) Conversation themed- Strategies for integrating female voices in news and news room leadership on X yesterday, which left me with these key points, as my take home from the panelists- 📌"Leadership roles are not for a specific gender. 📌You have to take the bull by the horn, and be intentional in learning, developing and training! 📌 Gender disparity is high in the media space and no man would want to shift for you, except you intentionally go out and push the limits!" And now, realizing that this forth coming conference is also channeled towards being intentional in media career development, I must say, it's indeed more than a coincidence! I think, this enlightning repetition on being intentional, is intentionally handled with intentionality from these Legendary Media Practitioners. Thanks to Media Career Development Network and all the Organisers for this brilliant initiative.🙏 We can't wait to be part of this!
