Being a fan of tipping points and habits, this research report that a few colleagues have shared caught my attention. I’m also impatient for results (why haven’t I dropped a dress size after 2 days of dieting or look 20 years younger after a couple of nights with my new silk pillowcase type of impatient). In a world where we all experience FOMO, especially when it comes to meetings, using copilot really can help.
I recently took a few vacation days, and of course, there is the re-entry for all the missed work. I don’t know that pre-copilot, I had the stomach to wade through all the recordings and notes of what I had missed out on. Good intentions, yes, but they are soon short-lived. But here I was, provided with some crisp summaries of the recordings and accompanying slides, and able to digest a 2 hour meeting in less than 10 minutes. I could also quickly get to where I had questions, and then zero into that specific part of the recording to go deeper and be ready to accelerate a 1:1 conversation on necessary solutions vs wasting precious time to ‘be brought up to speed’.
