Spanning a staggering 538 sq km—equivalent to five times the size of Paris and nearly as large as Mumbai—this project is poised to redefine the global energy landscape. -> The Khavda power plant boasts a capacity of 30 GW, making it the largest on the planet. ->Operational since February 14, 2024, it initially contributed 551 MW of solar energy to the national grid. -> Adani Green Energy Limited's investment of Rs 1.5 lakh crore underscores its commitment to sustainable energy solutions. -> By March '25, the company aims to ramp up production to 6 GW, with plans for a minimum 5 GW annual expansion. -> The project's innovative waterless cleaning robots combat dust accumulation on panels, conserving water in the arid Kutch region. -> With an eye on environmental impact, India is set to mitigate approximately 58 million tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. -> relentless pursuit of renewable energy extends across 12 states, with Rajasthan and Gujarat leading the charge. #AdaniKhavdaProject is on a mission to reimagine India’s sustainable future. #AdaniGreenEnergy has commenced power generation from world’s largest renewable energy park at Khavda, Gujarat. Adani Green aims to develop 30 GW of clean energy at Khavda to generate ~81 billion units of electricity which can power over 16 million homes annually. The barren wasteland of Khavda is transforming into a powerhouse of clean energy and green jobs. In a recent tweet, our chairman, Mr. Gautam Adani talked about this as a tremendous leap in India’s green future. So excited to share with you all that, with addition of 800+ MWs green energy out of 30GWs as planned for Khavda, our team currently aims to determine Day-Ahead (DA) schedules of power generation for over 1.4+ GWs of RE portfolio, a process intricately linked to revenue generation. Our approach to Day-Ahead scheduling is meticulous and data-driven. We analyze a multitude of factors, including weather forecasts, demand projections and operational constraints, to optimize our power generation and sales strategy. By leveraging forecasting models and market insights, we ensure that our schedules are not only profitable but also resilient to potential disruptions. Additionally, we actively participate in the Real-Time Market (RTM), where we sell excess power to mitigate the impact of weather fluctuations and operational changes. This agile approach allows us to adapt to dynamic market conditions and maximize revenue. In conclusion, our team at Adani Green's Khavda Project is committed to optimizing DA schedules and leveraging RTIM to ensure the project's success. Our focus on revenue generation and operational resilience underscores our dedication to driving sustainable growth in the renewable energy sector.
