In the early 1800s, America and Britain fought for control of Michigan and the Great Lakes – set off by the British capture of Fort Mackinac on this date 212 years ago. The Treaty of Ghent, which ended the War of 1812, restored peace to Mackinac. American soldiers retook possession of Fort Mackinac in July 1815, three years after the post had been captured.

Wayback at the end of the Civil War, there was a failed movement to create a new country versus re-joining the Union (The Knights of The Golden Circle)... Fast forward to 2024, and the democRAT ancestors of those failed Confederates are merely bringing Mexicicans (and anyone who wants to walk over) to the United States, instead of trying to join forces with Mexico and the Carribean leadership. The really bad news? We'll ALL be slaves, if they succeed. "The primary objective of the Knights of the Golden Circle was to establish a new slaveholding nation, called the "Golden Circle," encompassing parts of the Southern United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean, essentially aiming to expand the territory where slavery was legal by acquiring new territories through military expeditions and annexation, thus bolstering the power of the Southern slaveholding class." ---Smithsonian

With tens of thousands of fatalities and millions of people displaced, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict stems from a colonial crime committed more than a century ago. For many years, scholars, military professionals, Western media, and international leaders have characterized the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as unsolvable, complex, and impasse-ridden. Digging deep into the background of the ongoing Israel-Palestine War, I have written an article, "Israel-Palestine War: Background". Kindly give it a read via the link given below. https://lnkd.in/gDvBdNCq

Yesterday, Aaron Bushnell, a 25 year old active duty member of the US military, self-immolated in front of the Israeli embassy in Washington D.C. Aaron lit himself on fire in protest of American complicity in the genocide of Palestinians committed by Israel. This is an act of extreme bravery, courage, and fearlessness. I hope that his martyrdom sparks the necessary action and movement to end U.S. aid to Israel and all other genocidal regimes. These were his final words…

An amazing picture shows the Costa Rican Air Force discreetly escorting a boat full of tourists to a hidden paradise in Costa Rica. Would you happen to know? Since 1949, Costa Rica has been the first country in the world to abolish its army. This landmark decision fortified the nation's commitment to civility in its political life. Internationally, the abolition marked a significant shift in diplomacy, showcasing Costa Rica’s pacifist stance and proving that a country can thrive without a military. By reallocating military resources, Costa Rica has achieved greater social development, focusing on health, education, and equitable wealth distribution. This approach has contributed to a more stable, rights-rich, and developed society.

Supporting global organizations to succeed in difficult negotiations • #GlobalNegotiationExpert • #NegotiationConsulting • #CEO • #Schranner • #HostageNegotiator • #Negotiation
Stage 10: War Marital war, trade war, or armed war —those who believe they can win a war will not negotiate. As long as all parties involved believe a military victory is still possible, negotiations will not occur. Negotiations will only begin when a military victory seems no longer possible, exhaustion sets in, or total surrender must be averted. Initial peace negotiations may not bring lasting peace but can prevent further escalation. Next week, we will show you ways to de-escalate a crisis. In addition, we will show possible elements for a de- escalation in the crisis between Israel and Hamas. For more information, please visit our website:

So, too, with the current war between Israel and Hamas, to fully understand the conflict, it is important to examine the differences in both the ideological underpinnings and battle ethics of the Israeli military and the Gaza-based terror group. It becomes clear that this war is an asymmetric battle between a military force that places a premium on life and human dignity, and an organization that finds all human lives expendable in its eternal fight against the Jewish state.

A sublime analysis of the current geopolitical situation. In German there is a saying “Wer nicht hören will, muss spüren.” (Who doesn’t want to listen, needs to feel). This is what Collective West is feeling right now in Ukraine, the Red Sea that their “if you are not at the table, you are on the menu” aka rules-based intl order is met with kinetic force. Mr Escobar concludes that this is the only language the warmongering and genocidal collective west understands. […] It's a matter of the collective West versus Islam; the collective West versus Russia; and sooner rather than later, a substantial part of the West, even reluctantly, versus China. The fact is we are already immersed in a World War that is both existential and civilizational. As we stand at the crossroads, there is a bifurcation: either escalation towards overt “kinetic military action,” or a multiplication of Hybrid Wars across several latitudes.
