I’d like to express my deep appreciation to Patrick Lencioni and The Table Group for the transformative impact they've had on our business 🙏 People-centric leadership and a commitment to organisational health have been instrumental for MEX Engineering Group, inspiring our Culture Wall and shaping our 3 Core Values: Home Safe Always, People over Profit, and Quality over Quantity. We have embedded “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲” principles into everything we do: 🙌 Clarifying Our Business: We clarify our business with six key questions and consistently communicate and reinforce these answers. Why do we exist? How do we behave? What do we do? How will we succeed? What is most important? Who must do what? 🙌 Building a Cohesive Leadership Team: Our leadership team is focused on results, accountability, commitment, conflict, and trust. 🙌 Effective Meeting Structure: Our meeting structure includes Daily Check-Ins, Weekly Staff Meetings, Ad Hoc Topical Discussions, and Quarterly Reviews. Our leadership teams are trained in the "𝟱 𝗗𝘆𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺": Trust, Conflict, Commitment, Accountability, and Results. They have all completed the “𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘂𝘀” assessment to identify their unique strengths and focus their work in these areas of expertise. We hire employees who align with Hungry, Humble, and Smart principles from "𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿" Lastly, we don’t sell to our clients; we strive to become their trusted advisers by solving their problems. This approach is rooted in the principles of "𝗚𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗱," which emphasises vulnerability, humility, selflessness, and transparency for the client's benefit. Thank you, Patrick Lencioni and The Table Group, for guiding us on this journey 🤝 Read the books here: https://lnkd.in/gTmh9aFC #Leadership #Business #Health #Success #Culture #Education #BestAdvice #PersonalDevelopment #Work #Growth #Management

You can’t control what happens with the economy…but you can help your business and people thrive! What an incredible day at the Prime Strategies Group conference, where I had the privilege of delivering my first speaking engagement in Christchurch! In just a short time, this awesome group of business advisors came away with: ✔️ Insights into the invisible challenges business owners face, and how enabling clients to unlock their inner potential can lead to greater ease in achieving their goals and performing at their best. ✔️ Business leaders, like HP athletes, actively develop a thriving mindset. It's not innate—it’s learned through knowledge, practice, persistence, and the right mental skills training ✔️ A look into the evidence-based 'Thrive Success Triad,' highlighting how the right balance of beliefs, skills & resources, and effort creates lasting success. ✔️ A snap shot of real-world case studies of The Thrive Programme with personal and business outcomes. ✔️ The satisfaction that they’ve spent a very productive working ON the impact and value they bring to their client's business It was a productive hour focused on how advisors can continue bringing even greater value to their clients' businesses. A huge thank you to John Cleghorn and Rob Drower for the opportunity, and to Brad White for the warm welcome. It was truly a pleasure to connect with such a talented and dedicated team who are committed to the success of their clients. This week I am opening my calendar for Q&A of how people in business can grow and succeed in uncertain times. You can email me or drop me a line. Yesterday’s workshop dove deep into the crucial topic of organizational health and resilience. Why does a company need to think about building resiliency? Consider this statistic: 💡 Companies with engaged employees see a 21% increase in profitability (Gallup, 2020). This shows how significant human capital is to the strength and adaptability of a business. It also demonstrates the direct impact of empowered teams on overall financial performance and long-term health. The High Center Best Practices Workshop #LehighValley (on 9/24) was facilitated by Kaitlin Wolfert, Family Business Consultant at #CompassPoint, who focused on the human capital aspects, while Ryan Walter, Managing Director of ProCFO Partners provided insights on the financial factors of organizational health. Together, Kaitlin and Ryan unpacked the challenges and strategies for bolstering resilience. We invite you to reflect on these three questions that attendees discussed: 1️⃣ From a people or financial perspective, what issue is having an impact on performance and, therefore, the resilience of your company? 2️⃣ If you fix that issue, what will it save you in terms of time, money, and frustration OR what opportunities will it open up for you? 3️⃣ On a scale of 1-5, how would you rate your problem? (1 = We're good – 5 = We need a miracle worker!) How are you addressing these challenges in your organization? Let’s continue the conversation > add your comments below! And if you rated your current resiliency a 2.5 or higher, DM Kaitlin or visit our website compasspt.com to learn more about how Compass Point's Leadership Pillar helps family businesses build resiliency through deep and action-oriented leadership programs - virtually or in-person, offsite or onsite. BOTTOMLINE: A COMPANY CANNOT OUTGROW ITS LEADERSHIP! Investing in your people will strengthen your employee retention, company culture, financials, and long-term business health. #OrganizationalResilience #HumanCapital #BusinessGrowth #Strategy #OrganizationalHealth #EmployeeEngagement #LeadershipDevelopment #BusinessResilience
