Never heard of Cre SAM? No need to worry, very few people have. The SAM was built in 2001 by the long-defunct Swiss company Cree and was intended as an emission-free city vehicle for two people. The company only built 80 prototypes and went bankrupt shortly afterward. Interesting: the outer skin is double-walled thermoplastic made from recycled polymer.
