We spoke to 50,000 workers from around the world to find out the critical insights you need to know. Our 2024 Talent Trends report is now live with a focus on salaries, flexibility, skills and culture. One of the topics that was of interest, was around AI and what people really think about it. Recruiting in the financial services industry and speaking to contacts, there is definitely a mix of those are embracing AI and looking at ways to streamline and make roles more efficient to get the best out of their employees (92% of respondents to the survey are willing to learn more about AI and how to use it effectively), but there are still those out there that see it as a 'scary' word (4 in 10 respondents see AI impacting their long term career plans). AI domino effect has reached HR!!! I recently got the opportunity to attend a conference #TECHRPulse organised by #peoplematters highlighting the growing impact of Al in all the different parts of HR. This relationship keeps getting deeper. Al has drastically improved the hiring processes - be it sourcing, reviewing or even interviewing the candidates - the impact is revolutionary. Finding the tailored candidates perfectly fitting your job description is close to a cake walk, all because of Al! But you know what Al cannot do? Build and drive the culture in an organization. The way you think, the way you talk, the way you act and the way you tackle the problems is what defines the culture of the company. And it is the employees who drive it. Our generation demands much more than an attractive pay package and as an HR, it is a critical responsibility that we provide that human touch and create a space as such for the employees that the alignment of employees with the culture we aim to drive is smooth as ever.
