Patient engagement and medical information patients seeking behavior are of increasing importance in the healthcare landscape to ensure the patient perspective and expectations are taken into account in the decisions made during development and full life-cycle of medicines. A MILE MI Standards Taskforce has developed principles to support MI functions across the pharmaceutical industry in defining a framework on how to handle MI interactions with patients and gather and share insights.
