🎅✨ 🛵 Santas of Our Streets Imagine a street corner in India, where the air buzzes not just with rickshaws and chatter, but with the laughter of two cute little Santas. Yes, you read that right. 🛵🔔 This isn't your usual Christmas card scene. It's warmer and more familiar. Here, Santa isn't a faraway fantasy; he's as desi as chai and samosas, delivering joy and maybe, just maybe, some gulab jamuns too. Their red attire brightens the street, showing us that Santa's spirit lives everywhere—in the warm grins of grandparents and the hands of delivery folks, making even a hot May day feel like December. This picture? It's a story of India's heart—a blend of tradition and modernity, where every street has a narrative. It tells us that acts of kindness aren't seasonal or limited to the climes of the North Pole. They're right here, in our bustling gullies, where every day can be #christmas if we choose to share and care. So, here’s a thought – next time you see your local chaiwala or the didis heading to work, share a smile, a thank you, or a small token of gratitude. Let’s make the warmth of this image our everyday reality. Because in India, Santa doesn't just come once a year; he lives in the hearts that choose to give every day. 🌟 #incredibleindia #EverydaySanta #joyfulGiving #HeartwarmingStories #communityspirit #linkedinconnection #linkedinforcreators #linkedintopvoice

Diverse Flavors || Sustainable Roots: Indian Tea Maven Explores Black, Green, Herbal, and Flavored Teas || Tea Enthusiast: 18-Year Journey as a Forward-Thinking Entrepreneur ||
"Never go to anyone's house empty-handed." That's what my mom taught me as a kid, and it's something almost every Indian family believes. Gifting in India isn't about how much you spend; it’s about showing you care, about saying thank you. Whether it's a box of sweets for a relative or a box of tea for a client, it’s the thought that counts more than the gift itself. It has always been a big part of our culture. It's a way of saying, "I'm thinking of you," or "Thank you for being in my life." Even in business, the essence of gifting remains the same. We see it when we welcome new team members or when we wish to connect with a long-time client who believed in us from the start. It’s about showing appreciation and expressing gratitude, not just through what we give, but how we give it. Tea, in its simplicity, carries this sentiment beautifully. It’s not just a gift; it’s an invitation to pause, reflect, and enjoy the moment. A shared cup of tea can say so much – about gratitude, about friendship, and about taking a moment to breathe and savour life together. That’s the spirit we cherish with every gift, every gesture. It’s not about the grandeur; it’s about the gesture, the personal touch that says, “You matter.” #Gifting #CorporateGifting #TeaGifts #IndianTraditions #ThoughtfulGifts

Ambanis are rich. Of course we all know that :) But what I observed this time is that these guys have grown rich in all ways over time. Money is just one aspect. I see lot of 'rich people' - who are either super proud to be busy, don't have time for family, are as arrogant as arrogant can be, and largely have a single focus goal in life - to make more money. When I was watching the Ambani wedding festivities recently coupled with multiple media appearances they make during various events, I see one giant happy family, surrounded by a whole lot of friends. Now of course, you are right, money can even buy happiness, specially at the level they are at. But what stood out for me was, the involvement of the parents, in their son's wedding. Like you could see them having spent not just money, but also enough time to make this moment magical. You could notice how they have not only invited friends from world over, but orchestrated it in a way that everybody gets to be a part of the celebration, and feels special. PR or whatever, you can see the emotions in the eyes of the family members, like a regular family celebrating moments of joy in the family. It is one thing to make money. Quite another to make money at the level that they have. But despite reaching the heights they have reached, to somewhat operate as a glorified version of a happy Indian family that looks after their family members, that looks after friends, that makes people feel welcome is what makes them truly rich in my opinion. Lot of people in the world go crazy after making money, but not everybody is able to understand that making money is not just about making money, but about using that money to live happily. Asking people to take a leaf out of Ambani's book may be very costly, but nevertheless, I am sure we can get inspired in our small ways and work towards living a fulfilling life.

₹5000 Crore for a Wedding? 💸 Anant Ambani's wedding recently made headlines with its staggering ₹5000 crore price tag. The extravagant jewelry and star-studded guest list showcased an impressive display of wealth. But is it really worth it? Amidst all this opulence, I found myself reflecting on a simpler, more impactful approach. Take N. R. Narayana Murthy and Sudha Murty, for example. They have chosen to stay out of the flashy competition, focusing instead on genuine contributions and quiet generosity. By remaining simple and avoiding the race to display wealth, which they were equally capable of, they made the race itself irrelevant. This approach allowed them to stand out more distinctly compared to those who were likely struggling to draw attention. For me this approach offers a refreshing contrast to the often extravagant displays we see. The point is: As India’s economy grows, the gap between the rich and the common man also widens. While many are inspired to reach for the stars, the constant showcase of wealth can leave people feeling inadequate. Now imagine if that ₹5000 crore spent on a wedding were invested in uplifting thousands of lives. The joy and blessings received in return would likely be more fulfilling and impactful. This context extends beyond just weddings; it’s a broader call to reconsider how we use our resources. To me, true richness isn’t about outdoing others; it’s about making a meaningful difference. When we celebrate, we have a choice: seek admiration or earn heartfelt blessings. Shifting our focus from flashy displays to real impact could lead to a more prosperous and harmonious society. What’s your take on this? Let’s discuss in the comments. - KC Jain #Wealth #SocialImpact #Generosity #LifeLessons #Society #AmbaniWedding

WHY I CELEBRATE THIS WEDDING ! Boo Hoo….to the trolls… I wish Mr. Ambani had 10 children instead of three and we would have so much more to look forward to. Have you heard of the Trickle Down theory ? When the rich spend, it trickles down to the poorest, especially those who just want to make decent living out of hard work and not live off charity. I think right from the chaiwalla to phoolwalla to rickshaw walla to the guard probably the lowest in the ladder got well engaged due to their labour. Ofcourse there were layers…. Suppliers/ vendors…the local economy got a boost. What if all this money just lay in a bank … earning interest? Even if it is an ostentatious display so be it. They are the modern day Maharajas. Our knowledge of the grandeur of eras is dependent on the court writers and sculptors who put it down for generations to learn about. Mahabharat , Ramayana, puranas are well populated with the grand events hosted by royalty. We are a culturally rich country, and there is no harm should such grandeur be revived. With all due respect to our old wealth, of the pre-Independence era, their events/ weddings have been out of media and not much is known about them. Remember we were a third world country, exceptionally poor ? Any ostentatious display of wealth wouldn’t bode well. Fast forward today, we have a huge middle class with unmatched aspirations, and everything is within reach. If a middle class Ambani could do it, so can I. Yes, there have been so many successful stories where young people have broken the barriers and entered millionaire clubs in India. The butt-ists, and what-abouters (those who will always butt in with a what about or a but what of this or that)…. Well listen up…. Some people like to work hard and play hard. Let’s just say Ambanis play hard. God bless Ambanis. PS: Sadly, I am neither related to them 😢 or even remotely connected to any of their business.

Dear ladies and gentlemen, As today is Christmas eve and a time for joy and family, allow me also to express yet another reflection that is somewhat linked to the solidarity people should show in these festive times. Unfortunately we do not live in a festive world... the atrocities on mass scale are each year multiplying and this year I feel like we truly have little to celebrate if we observe the overall global wellbeing. In spirit of this I wish to remind you all a fundamental, yet forgotten truth: ALL IS POLITICAL! Modern ignorant worker consumers are constantly ignoring (consciously or unconsciously) the political undertone of their actions and what message that send out to the world. People say they don't care, or it's not that big a deal, or simply that it does not concern them. Today on Christmas eve, it has been a long standing tradition to go collect the light of Betlehem to bring home for the festivities. I cannot condone the acquisition of such flame this year and I myself, with a heavy heart, am foregoing this tradition for I cannot condone the horrors occurring in Israel and keep in my own house the same flames that are burning the Palestinian people. It hurts me beyond what many of you will imagine to see a once persecuted people commit such horrors... Do realise as ordinary citizens what messages we send to our politicians with our actions (or lack of..) It is even more flabbergasting that so many citizens know nothing or fundamentally little of political ideologies and then still call themselves capitalist or socialist or fascist or whatever else... sadly I've come to learn that many do not even know what left and right means... Anyway, I will not digress excessively and conclude simply by saying: I cannot stand the people who say politics does not concern or interest them... that is the ultimate sign of ignorance in a democracy, and such people deserve to live under authoritarianism. Maybe we are ripe for such an age

So, last day of the year. What is your new year's resolution? What's mine? I don't know. I have never had a new year resolution. If I wanted to do something and it made sense, why will I wait for the start of the year. And then there is all this research that most of us give up on our resolutions within 2-3 weeks of the new year. Why bother? Well. There is one robust reason in favour of resolutions. It's similar to celebrating a birthday. We are alive all year so why celebrate one day? Because of symbolism. Markers and symbols help us start a journey. And then you need discipline to stay on the path. Am I a bore 😴 on the last day of the year? Yes? Well then join an exciting audio event today at 5 pm India time where 20 of India's top LinkedIn based creators will discuss Utility or Futility of New Year Resolutions. It's a fun conversation that you will enjoy. And we timed it at 5 pm so it's well before you join your family and friends to welcome the new year. Joining link in comments.
