This past weekend marked my 2-month anniversary at Change.org, and I’m excited to share a few highlights that have truly impressed me about this company: 👩💻 **Remote-First Environment**: At a time when many companies are retreating from remote work, Change.org continues to invest in a remote-first global environment, ensuring all employees are set up for success from their homes. 🧘♀️ **Recharge Days**: Five times a year, Change.org gives us company-wide days to recharge (in addition to unlimited PTO). These days allow everyone to disconnect, spend time doing things they love and recharge knowing that everyone at the company is doing the same. 🏆 **Commitment to Company Values**: Our values are not just words on a wall. They’re woven into our onboarding, performance reviews, and daily interactions. Twice a year, we recognize employees who exemplify our values with a peer-nominated trip to any location where we have at least two employees. We celebrated our latest winners just a couple of weeks ago! 🏙 **Ready for Change Retreat**: Semi-annually new hires gather in person for a week-long retreat to dive deep into our common language, engage in meaningful discussions about our values, and build a strong community. As I write this, I’m in New York City with Benjamin Joffe-Walt, Allie Shulman, and 20 of our newest team members from the US, Argentina, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, France, Spain, and Australia.
