The savings are fake. Simplistic savings math introduces perverse incentives to choose the most expensive option and then spend as much as possible—every incremental discounted hour simultaneously contributes to total spend and total “savings.” Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gqX_6k9V #LegalCommunity #LexFusion #LegalTechnology #LawStudents #Lawyering #LawFirmMarketing #GenAI #HR #Hiring With - Joe B., D. ⭐ Meet Matt Kochanski, Director of Program Integrity at Advize. Matt's journey into healthcare fraud investigation began unexpectedly after grad school. Initially seeking a teaching career, his passion for solving puzzles and uncovering the truth led him to excel in roles at HHS, NASA, and UPIC. Driven by a desire to improve the U.S. healthcare system, Matt is committed to making a meaningful impact through program integrity work. Thank you for sharing your story, Matt! - - - I stumbled into the health care fraud arena. My then future mother-in-law worked for an OIG office. She suggested that I look into it as it wasn’t the “typical” government job. I had just finished grad school and was looking for a teaching position. Furthest thing from my mind was being a federal investigator. I applied, called a call within two days (timing is everything). I interviewed and was brought in as a Merit Scholar the following Monday. Even then, I had no idea what the job was. Why do I still do it? Two layers of reasons. First, when I was interviewed, my potential supervisor asked me, :You’re a history major, why should I hire you to be an Investigator?” My answer was that both positions seek the truth from whatever sources they can find. (I could really BS then). But, thinking about that – my love of solving puzzles, getting to the bottom of things, and finding the “truth” has motivated me my entre career – at HHS, NASA, the UPIC and here. But why healthcare? Because I believe we can do better. We are the richest country in the world but our healthcare system lags behind many other countries in many important areas. I want to do my part to help mitigate (if not solve) the problems that cause that. If the program integrity work that we do helps at all, I want to be a part of it for as long as I can. #VoicesOfHealthcare #HealthcareIntegrity #FraudPrevention #HealthcareHeroes #AdvizeHealth #ProgramIntegrity #HealthcareExcellence #HealthcareInnovation #MakingADifference #HealthcareLeadership

Operations Manager | IT Systems Engineer II | Business Development | Incoming Sales Engineer | Professional Program in Sales Inductee | USCA Candidate
This is an excellent article by David Brock! It's a thrilling deep dive into the often-overlooked world of misdiagnosis in sales and customer relations, uncovering the critical importance of accurately pinpointing problems. It's a game-changer, transforming our view of sellers from mere solution providers to sharp, eagle-eyed diagnosticians.
Had a fascinating conversation with Dr. Howard Dover about a program he and Becc Holland led with #utdsales students last week. As we spoke, we looked at that challenge of how we and our customers may Mis-diagnose the problem, why that happens and what we can do about it. Then we explored a second challenge, Missed-Diagnosis, that is the failure to recognize the need to change. The conversation provoked me to write a couple of articles. This focuses on Mis-diagnosis. https://lnkd.in/gQ7KWFSg

Embracing the Non-Linear Journey in Pharmacy Be patient and don't expect to get it right first time! As I reflect on my career path, I’m reminded of the beauty that lies in the non-linear. The first job I held was not a crystal ball into my future, but rather the first step on a winding path of discovery. From the structured environment of a hospital pharmacy to community pharmacy and online clinics, each role was a chapter in my story, not the entire book. The transition to online clinics opened a new realm of possibilities, connecting me with patients beyond physical boundaries. But it was in general practice where I found my symphony, a place where my roles as a Pharmacist, Educator, Partner harmonised where I can make a difference to the team and also to patients. It’s here that my strengths are not just recognised but celebrated. Life, much like a career, is beautifully unpredictable. It’s filled with breaks that refresh, flash starts that invigorate, and challenges that strengthen. Understanding oneself and one’s passions is a journey, not a destination. Through it all, I’ve learned that satisfaction doesn’t come from a smooth ride, but from the resilience and growth in navigating the bumps along the way. I’ve embraced every part of this journey, and I encourage you to do the same. #Pharmacy #CareerJourney #NonLinearPath #SelfDiscovery #GrowthMindset
