Gambling Disorder is not a new concern, but with the increased popularity and ease of access to sports betting and casino gaming the problem is becoming a greater issue. We have a SIGNIFICANT shortage of qualified individuals who specialize in treating this unique disorder. CADC/CAADC credentials don't require gambling education, most graduate programs don't cover Gambling DO creating an often misunderstood disorder to be treated inadequately. We are excited to attend Michigan's 16th Annual Gambling Disorder Symposium on Wednesday, March 13th to learn more about what the State is doing and to learn about treatment and prevention strategies. #gamblingaddiction #responsiblegambling #recovery
