Sometimes you just know something, but hearing it from a customer is reassuring, right? In order to measure the call drop ratio in their network, our client used to retrieve data from mobile network elements and performed occasional drive testing. To see if they could do better, they set up Qrystal to measure the dropped call ratio (DCR) and compared the data. Qrystal’s DCR matched the actual user experience as well as the data from drive testing, but was more cost-effective and delivered continuous 24/7 data for the entire network. On top, Qrystal managed to identify the main drop causes: 🔴 Dedicated Bearer lost (a bug in the used IMS system causing issues handling RTP bearers) 🔴 RTP timeout - drops were due to Radio bad coverage This is only one reason to have the right monitoring solution in place. #CustomerFeedback #VoLTE #NetworkMonitoring #IMS #TelecomSolutions #DataAnalytics #QualityAssurance #TechInnovation #Voipfuture

As a service a provider you agreed with your client you will do door to door delivery, amidst the process you engage 3rd party who will assist you to complete a cycle within the agreed period but the other party is unreliable so they have caused you to miss the deadlines with your client instead of giving the clients lame excuses on why you missed them simply own up your mistake and put your house unorder so that you can regain your relationship with your client in future.

Isn't it reassuring to hear confirmation from a customer? One of our clients recently compared call drop KPIs obtained from their mobile network elements, from actual drive tests and from Qrystal. They found out that the call drop measurements from their network elements vastly underestimated the actual dropped call ratio (DCR) as experienced by users. And they discovered that the Qrystal DCR perfectly matched the data obtained from drive testing. The main difference: Qrystal data is available 24/7 for the entire network.
