Looking back on the year: Celebrating family, memories and planning for the future ❤️ As we enter a new year, let's take a moment to reflect on the past, the times we've shared and the people who've touched our lives. This year has been a reminder of just how important family is, and just how fragile life can be. We've had both good and hard times that have shaped our history. As we gather with family over the holidays, let's remember those who are no longer with us. They live on in the stories we tell, the things we do and the lessons we pass on. Some of us may have thought about planning for the future this year. It's not just about what we leave behind, but the things that make us who we are. If you've already started on that journey, good for you. If you haven't, now is a good time to think about how you want to be remembered. In the busy holiday season, let's not forget the power of planning. It's in the small moments of getting ready, the conversations we have and the steps we take to shape our future and the future of those we love. I wish you a happy holiday season, full of love, laughter and moments that become part of your beautiful story. #lookbackontheyear #planningforthefuture #familytime #holidayseason2023 #lifemanagement #legacypreservation #legacy #beintentional #digitallifemanagement #familyalways

PSA: If it doesn’t align with your goals and values, it’s ok to let it go. 🗣️🗣️🗣️ As we hit the last stretch of the year, I reflect on what the year has brought and taught me… This year, I became a single parent to four children. This year, I’ve had to reconsider my future, the future I want to create for my kids, and for my work. This year, I rebuilt my business from the ground up after taking time out for maternity leave. This year, I said yes to clients, projects, and people that didn’t align with my values, leaving me drained, unhappy and burnt out. But this year has also… Taught me the power of slowing down and the strength in saying no. Taught me to let go of anything that doesn’t align with my goals, and release what feels draining. Taught me the importance of enjoying the small things in life - the small wins, hobbies, creativity, nature, gratitude… the list goes on. Taught me to work in a way that allows more time for my family - we work to live, not live to work. Taught me to surround myself with the most incredible, supportive and admirable clients, colleagues, and friends who inspire me every day. I am so grateful to be part of your journey, and for you to be part of mine 🫶🏼 Taught me never again to allow people or things in my life that won’t bring me happiness, health, knowledge or wealth ✨ It’s been a year 😅, but it’s been transformative—and for that, I’m grateful. So… yeah, f*ck it, life’s to short! If you’re not where you wanted to be at this point in the year, ask yourself ‘why?’ And if something doesn’t align with your goals and values, just let. it. go. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 (Pic to celebrate the none-work related little wins 🫶🏼 despite the anxiety, we braved a 12 hour round car journey last weekend to attend my beautiful Neice’s wedding… and we smashed it 🦾)

GLORIOUS SUMMER SOLSTICE GLAD MIDSOMMAR HAPPY MIDSUMMER: 2024🌱🌻🌳 Today, in Sweden it is midsummer eve. The signifier of the beginning of summer. It has a similar magic and importance as Christmas, with the communal maypole replacing the Christmas tree, sunhats and flower wreathes replacing woolly hats and 24 hours, more or less, of daylight instead of winter darkness. When the weather is good and you can be outside it is magic. Usually the same rituals reoccur: Friends, family, music, song, dance around the maypole, traditional food and drink. If the sun is shining, we will declare it a perfect day. If the rain is falling there will be national depression. Last year I was in Sweden in glorious weather and celebrating a traditional Swedish midsummer at its best. This year it will be Islington and then Ladbroke Grove in London. Equally wonderful in totally different ways. In both cases, I did and I will celebrate a magical afternoon and evening with dear friends, good conversation, splendid food and drink, celebrating and welcoming the promise of a fruitful summer with temperate weather, new adventures and much fun So here is to you💐 Have a wonderful midsummer weekend with the promise of the beginning of summer. Step outside, feel the sun on your face, and celebrate the gift of light. Let midsummer inspire you to shine brightly and share your warmth with the world. #wisdom #curiosity #courage #change #growth >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I am Katrin Andersson⚡ I am a London based change-maker helping courageous leaders navigate a complex and uncertain world. Mountaintops in life are moments of achievement, joy and satisfaction. You can look back on your life and find those many have shared like weddings, births, graduations and the like. But we all have personal mountaintop moments too. And those are what I want you to think about now. Think of those times when your pride and personal satisfaction were high – when you experienced and achieved something important – to yourself and others. Once you have one or more of those moments in your mind, think about what got you there. Ask yourself: What were my routines? What aided me? Who aided me? What were my goals? Reflective questions like these help you answer the core questions of: What did I learn and how can I get to more mountaintops or my next one faster? Beyond that reflection, make today and this week a week of remembering and celebrating your past mountaintop moments. That alone will change your week for the better. #BeRemarkable https://ow.ly/pfwG50SGvks

Happy New Year Darlings❤️ I’m sure some are still enjoying the holiday while some have hit the road running. Whichever category you belong, please make the most of it. I’m aware that the beginning of every year is usually met with many new year resolutions and plannings. While we’re at it, I’ll love to share with you, my LinkedIn family, some of the tips I heard from my senior pastor, Dr. Paul Enenche on how to plan for and navigate the year 2024. Here we go! 🔘 Start by appreciating God for the previous year. *thanksgiving opens more doors. 🔘 Identify what needs to be done in 2024 early and write them down. Don’t just analyze it in your head, put it into writing so you can easily run with it. *identify where you want to direct the most of your life’s energy, resources, time, ability, potentials or mantle, for easy productivity. * identify what constitutes the necessities and priorities of your life and destiny in 2024. 🔘 Refuse to be discouraged about the unfinished pursuit(s) of the previous year. * the end of the year is not the end of the game. * there are efforts we’re making now that aren’t showing, not because they’re not effective, but because they’re being summated. 🔘 Enter and proceed into the year unburdened with the baggage of the previous year. *unwind and release all the hurts of the previous year. You cannot walk backward into the future. * forgive anyone that needs to be forgiven in order to advance. 🔘 Command and direct the year in the place of prayer. *refuse to allow the year go anyhow it wants. ( in other words, no gree for 2024, no gree for anybody😂😂😂) 🔘Access and receive instructions from the Almighty. *give yourself to constant study of the Word. This blessed me immensely and I hope it blesses you too. One of my new year resolutions is that you’ll read from me more often this year. I hope when I write, you’ll read? I am Uchechi E. Chibueze The lawyer with a listening ear.

As the calendar turns and New Year's Eve approaches, we acknowledge that this time can be particularly challenging for individuals and families in recovery. However, amidst the potential difficulties, there exists a profound opportunity to not only acknowledge the hurdles but to actively embrace the joy, authentic connections, and the promise of new beginnings that a fresh year symbolizes. For those on the path of recovery, New Year's Eve signifies more than just the ticking of the clock; it stands as a powerful reminder of resilience and growth. While it's natural to reflect on the challenges faced, it's equally crucial to recognize the strength that brought you to this moment. Embracing the genuine connections formed during your journey and finding joy in shared experiences can be a source of inspiration and motivation. The dawn of a new year represents a blank canvas, a chance for a fresh start in recovery. It's an opportunity to renew your commitment, set new goals, and approach the upcoming chapters with a sense of hope and determination. The support of loved ones, the bonds formed in recovery, and the lessons learned along the way all contribute to the foundation upon which you can build a positive and fulfilling future. So, as the clock strikes midnight, let it not only mark the end of one year but signify the beginning of a new chapter filled with possibilities. Embrace the celebration not only as a reflection of the past but as a testament to your strength, resilience, and the potential for continued growth. May the joy of genuine connections and the promise of new beginnings be your guiding lights as you step into the fresh canvas of a new year in recovery. #recoveryispossible #substanceuserecovery #traumarecovery #joy
