Delta - why are you doing this to your loyal customers? Ever since I can remember flying, I’ve made a conscious effort to use Delta as my primary travel option. Outside of convenience to Atlanta, the rewards were a big part of it, but as we’ve all seen, those too have become less valuable, whether through actual purchasing power or being able to use them. A last minute flight cancellation on my part drops me from being a Platinum member down to Silver despite a reasonable amount of domestic flights, one international flight and over $164,000 in personal card spend on my AmericanExpress Platinum card in 2023. I’m 3795 MQM’s from Gold status, which I unfortunately cannot purchase due to Delta policy. First world problems, I know, but still incredibly frustrating for me and many others. Delta’s profit jumped 60% at the end of 3rd Quarter…Q4 will most likely meet or exceed those numbers. That’s literally billions of dollars. With at least 20 trips scheduled this year, maybe it’s time to make a change to another airline as my primary? After all, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. #delta #AmericanExpress

Michael Hoover maybe it's time to switch to Star Alliance or oneworld Alliance?? Hard to do from Atlanta I know... HNY to you and safe travels in 2024!
