I’d add, for creatives: ▪️Do make art that invites your audience to put in work. Don’t dumb down your message. ▪️Do take chances with various styles. Don’t forget you need no permission to do so. ▪️Do save the bulk of your trust for your voice. Don’t allot but a bare minimum for buzz. ▪️Do trust your process. Don’t forget you got there by listening.

There is so much B.S. about what it takes to have a successful solo biz. Let me set a few things straight; 🚫You don't need to be all things to all people. 🚫You don't need to let random people book time in your calendar. 🚫You won't sell more if you reduce your prices. 🚫 Withholding how much it costs to work with you will scare people away. 🚫You don't need a massive following or to go viral. 🚫You can not convince someone to work with you by following up with them 5 times..
