Indeed, we have great news to share! Our article (Wilson Tam & Brigitte Woo 胡芳溶), "Characteristics, methodological, and reporting quality of scoping reviews published in nursing journals: A systematic review," has been awarded the top downloaded article in the Journal of Nursing Scholarship! It is a humbling experience to analyse and share important information on scoping reviews published within nursing. On November 28th 2023, for my assignment in PPD 1041. We were asked to make a summary on an article about "The association between procrastination and academic procrastination among undergraduate nursing: The role of self-efficacy and resilience." In this article, I also learned that educators also should delve into the risk factors and underlying mechanisms contributing to this behavior.

Developing clinical judgment in nursing students is a major emphasis now that the NGN exam is in place. The ability to take action based on cues, hypotheses, and potential solutions is a key step in this essential nursing process. 🔅SUMMER SEASON🔅 Insufficient wound care knowledge in nursing students affects confidence and competence and little research on wound care content and delivery exists, leading to disparities in university curricula. A Delphi survey out of Murdoch University of 17 wound care experts in Australia aimed at determining what content should be taught and when found consensus on including 65 topics in undergraduate study. Hot off the press: Use of the Rasch Model for Fit Statistics and Rating Scale Diagnosis for the Student Perception Appraisal— Revised Access here: https://lnkd.in/ghe7zizz Item response theory and specifically, the single parameter polytomous Rasch model was used as a framework for fit statistic testing and rating scale diagnostics of the SPA-R1. This was a secondary analysis of a convenience sample of undergraduate prelicensure nursing students.
