The Give NCW campaign is a great platform for teaching your children about philanthropy and the importance of giving back to their communities! Here are some ideas for how to get started: 1. Carve out some time to talk about gratitude and how you can show your thankfulness by supporting causes you care about in your community. 2, Ask your children what they care most about: Animal welfare? The environment? Music and arts? Helping others less fortunate? 3. Use the list of participating nonprofits at GiveNCW.org (or in the printed directory) to find organizations that match their interests. 4. Determine a giving budget: Can your child use some of their allowance to pitch in? Will you as parents match their gifts? Remember, minimum gift through Give NCW is just $10! 5. I'm pleased to announce recently completed Phase I and II work on a full-integrated Google Workspace Platform, for a non-profit organization dedicated to animal welfare. Whiskers in Need is a business use case demonstrating the ability to empower small businesses, build low-and-no-cost sustainable Cloud solutions, and enable custom integrations for improved support and awareness. April is National Volunteer Month, giving you the perfect opportunity to do good in the world whether you have an hour or an afternoon to spend helping others. Here are some fun ways to lend a hand and make an impact on your community: *Park Clean Up - Grab some bags and invite your pals to spend a few hours on trash duty at your favorite green space. *Donate Books - If you have books, magazines or other reading materials collecting dust, put them to good use and donate to a local school or library. *Meals on Wheels - Find a local organization that delivers meals to those in need and see how you can help. Additionally, if you have a friend or neighbor who needs access to food, contact the organization and assist with the paperwork. *Letter Writing – Show members of the military your appreciation with a handwritten letter thanking them for their service and sacrifice. Write a service member you know personally or check out an organization like Operation Gratitude. I love how volunteering is a priority at Baptist Health, because volunteering as a team can offer numerous benefits in addition to benefitting your community. Below are my top 3 reasons why you should volunteer with your team on a regular basis: 1.
