🌍 Driving Sustainable Impact Together 🌏 Organisations often struggle with starting and sustaining impactful initiatives. With the G17Eco platform, we’ve designed solutions to navigate these complexities and direct finance towards meaningful outcomes. There’s a growing shift towards green careers and skills, but education is still crucial. We support this with practical resources for developing transferable skills. Highlighting #greenfluencers and their amazing changes is key. Providing platforms for these leaders helps inspire collective progress. At The RSA (The royal society for arts, manufactures and commerce) for London Climate Action Week #LCAW2024, our Chief Impact Officer, Musidora Jorgensen, was joined by: 🌟 Margarita Samsonova, a sustainability and nature documentarist, leading the movement for #greenfluencers to use their voice to advocate for change. 🌟 🔌 AY Young, leading the Battery Tour —a renewable energy-powered grassroots concert series raising funds to provide portable, solar-powered boxes to villages without reliable electricity. He’s also producing Project17, with one song for each of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. 🌟 Nadia Humphreys, Head of Sustainable Finance at Bloomberg, who spoke about ensuring finance flows to the areas driving the most sustainable outcomes. Aligning our goals and data usage is vital. Happy New Year, all! I'm looking forward to seeing in 2024 growth in the green sector. There's already been a stunning uptick in #greentech innovation in the last couple years, #electricvehiclecharging permits, #solarpower permits, investment across the board in fighting climate change. We'll never be able to do this alone. I am talking about Global Sustainability. It is only possible if there’s a concerted effort from all nations, organisations, and individuals. To make that possible, the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development gives 17 goals for a better future called Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These SDGs are a roadmap towards a sustainable future, addressing the challenges and opportunities that humanity faces in the 21st century. The SDGs give key focus areas that show the interconnectedness of economic, social, and environmental dimensions. Let's talk about each focus area: 1. People:  Ensuring the well-being and dignity of all individuals is fundamental to sustainable development. 2. Planet:  Preserving the health of our planet is important to safeguarding future generations. 3. Prosperity:  Sustainable economic growth must be inclusive and equitable, leaving no one behind. 4. Peace:  Peaceful, just, and inclusive societies are foundational to sustainable development. 5. Partnership:  Strengthening the means of implementation, including financing, technology transfer, and capacity-building, is important for accelerating progress. It is now extremely necessary that we act decisively and collectively to realise the vision of a sustainable future outlined in the 2030 Agenda. What are your thoughts about the 2030 agenda?
