How much do you use the Theory of Constraint for your event? It's been one of the most powerful thinking models I've (Ali Taghavi) ever used, and I'm really excited to share it with you: https://lnkd.in/ehxb5zvp One of its core premises is the ability to create more financial outcomes with the resources you already have. Here is an introduction to the concept as applied to dance activities. But I think you can map the concepts to any activity where you have a teacher and venue space. If you want to geek out on this with me, let me know 🤼 👍 like and ♻️ share it to help other dance schools and organisers 🙏

Tin Talks Judging: How do you battle someone clearly younger than you? Of course, an age gap is a relative thing. Although the gap between 35 Vs 20 years is the same as 22 Vs 7 years old, I'm sure we can imagine how different these scenarios are. If an event has an open category where any age group can enter, whoever is responsible for the younger dancers has to prepare them for what they may face. At the same time, competing against 'older' people could be good for their development. Adversely, if you are the older dancer, you may feel like you're at a disadvantage because of 'kiddie props', and impose restrictions on your natural instinct. Both competitors have to manage! It's important that the judges are, whilst using the appropriate criteria, making a fair and accurate call on what they see. I'd love to hear from competitors, event organisers and judges on this subject. State your case below! 💁🏾♂️ What subject should we cover next? Dance educators may agree it is difficult for a group of young students to remember their formation placements within choreography. The Dance Dots™ provide a way for instructors to successfully transition their students from one location to another so that the class, rehearsal, or performance may continue. #TheDanceDots #DanceEducation #DanceLife #MovementEducation #EarlyChildhoodDance #KidsDance #DanceTeachers #DanceLove #StudioManagement #DanceGoals
