Designers often overlook wearability when it comes to jewelry. Pieces have become too massive, which may be great for stars on the red carpet, but certainly not for everyday use. The most difficult thing is to make something simple. I appreciate pieces that are less bulky and less flashy, and that are more understated. These are pieces that still capture that craftsmanship and elegance without taking attention away from the person who wears it. Pieces don’t need to sacrifice practicality for luxury. In fact, I daresay that the former should influence the latter. The more collectors (connoisseurs) wear a piece, the more those pieces enhance and elevate their day-to-day lives.
