66% of the travelers we surveyed say they’re more interested in travel now than they were before the COVID-19 pandemic. Younger travelers, especially Gen Z and millennials, are eager for international trips, planning nearly equal domestic and international travel in 2024, unlike older generations who favor domestic trips. Here's how the travel industry can now leverage new technology to tailor offerings to individual needs, providing memorable and unique experiences. https://mck.co/3VKr6wV

This is interesting and backs up what I am hearing from my network. I don't think I've ever encountered so many young ( gen z and millenial age) people planning to travel as soon as they finish school college or university. And not small trips either, round the world, around Europe etc How do you afford this, is my question. I had to work for 4 years before I could afford a backpacking trip around the world. But however they do it, good luck to them, we live in a big world and it's great to see it whilst you can.

It's inspiring to see that a significant majority of travelers are more eager to explore now than before the pandemic, especially younger generations like Gen Z and millennials. Their enthusiasm for both domestic and international trips signals a robust recovery and a growing desire for diverse travel experiences. The emphasis on leveraging new technology to personalize travel offerings is crucial, ensuring that each journey is memorable and tailored to individual preferences. This data not only highlights evolving travel trends but also underscores the importance of innovation in delivering meaningful and unique travel experiences for all.
