We sat down with Kay who told us why “no two projects or clients are the same” at McKinsey Growth, Marketing & Sales, and what she finds most fulfilling about her role: “In four years at McKinsey, I’ve worked with clients from Singapore to the US, and from agricultural manufacturers, to luxury jewelers, to tech giants! Projects have covered pricing, sales, holistic growth, marketing, and more. So, there’s no shortage of industries or challenges to explore, and truly no two projects or clients are the same. You learn something new every time, and you’re always gaining insight into sector- or business-specific problems. “It may sound cliché, but honestly the best thing about working at McKinsey is the people! Outside of projects, I’ve made great friends in my joining cohort, within our practice, and through our many in-person training sessions.
