May is #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth. It's a good time to reflect on the state of youth mental health and how we can provide support. At NC Child we are mapping the resources that are available in North Carolina and conducting focus groups to better understand the issue (from the impacts of the pandemic to the role of social media). And we are advocating for solutions. In the end the youth mental health crisis is part of a larger one. And it's something we can all work together to address. #MentalHealth

As National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month wraps up, our drive for change continues. At FMS Global Strategies, we remain dedicated to advocating for systemic changes that recognize mental health care as a fundamental right, not just a privilege. Education is crucial in overcoming health disparities. We urge our community to utilize resources from the National Alliance on Mental Health Illness (NAMI), which provides tailored information and support for minority mental health needs. Understanding is the cornerstone of transformation. Join us in advocating for policies that truly support those in need. Together, we can make a lasting impact. #MentalHealthAdvocacy #ChangeMakers #FMSGlobalStrategies

Bell let’s talk day is largely a PR move. Prevention, access to treatment and ACTIONS are what we need to create CHANGE.
