The failure of imagination and foresight comes bundled with a lack of adaptive and creative problem solving skills. Where you find these you often find fear, confusion and irrational pride. All of these conspire together to increase complexity and entropy in both decision making and functional operations. When all of these teach critical mass once avoidable crisis emerge amplifying the severity of the predicament. When these infect the public and private sectors the result can be catastrophic in outcomes. Reality is not a machine. The broad way of the world is. Those who do not comprehend this are deceived, unsound in their thinking and self destructive in their ways. Their problems matasticize becoming increasingly unhinged from reality leading them to calamity. This will either break their pride and humble them enabling them to course correct or it will cause them to further become entrenched in their pride and fear leading them towards desolation and destruction.
