NCI #SBIR is proud to have pioneered initiatives like the Applicant Assistance Program (AAP), started in 2017 by NCI SBIR program directors to support applicants with no prior experience writing an NIH SBIR/STTR application. Over the years, AAP has grown to provide free Phase I SBIR/STTR application coaching to hundreds of companies across 10 NIH institutes. Read the recent publication on AAP in Nature to learn how the program has worked to enrich the SBIR/STTR awardee pool and improve access to non-dilutive funds by helping participants develop more competitive applications: https://lnkd.in/dYNdVBD6
