How does EBRP make an impact with your donations? Venture Philanthropy. Learn more about this innovative model below and here: https://lnkd.in/eATqrwEm 📈 Our Venture Philanthropy model leverages concepts from principal investing and applies them towards achieving philanthropic goals. 🔎 Instead of simply making grants, EBRP searches the globe to strengthen and accelerate the most promising research projects. ✅ These projects are vetted through EBRP’s world-class Scientific Advisory Board. 🔄 In exchange for funding, EBRP takes a financial interest in the innovative work we fund. 🦋 If those projects succeed, the returns are reinvested back into other promising EB research initiatives 🧬 The science we fund and our model can create a butterfly effect for thousands of other rare diseases. #VenturePhilanthropy #RareDisease #Research

Especially in the context of the current tragic headlines, do you look for stories of inspiration and hope? Here’s an ICL story that has helped us stay hopeful. Since 2018, ICL has been honored to work with the Collaboration of Regional Trail Initiatives (CRTI). This collaborative connects #leaders who are working on long-distance #trails and #greenways across the country. They tackle common challenges and opportunities and build a unique network of support to advance trails work individually and collectively. Amanda Lovelee, CRTI Steering Committee member and Minneapolis-based artist who works in civic systems, reflected on what ICL’s work with CRTI has meant. "I think ICL is making magic happen – it’s been inspirational for me. ICL helps hold space in a really kind and direct way that I appreciate. This has allowed some of us on our team to feel empowered to ask the hard questions, such as what’s the future of regional trails and how do they advance equity? ICL has supported us with diversifying the collaborative by making sure our voices are heard. It’s important to be able to say the things that need to be said and not to have to be the one who is also making sure people have heard them." The ICL team gets to support so many leaders like the ones in CRTI – leaders who are making a difference for trails, community health, and equity goals. In an average year, ICL supports over 1,200 leaders! You can fuel ICL’s efforts by contributing today. By donating to ICL, you help our small nonprofit have a ripple effect throughout the country for environmental and community health! Give today! https://lnkd.in/g5Zp_eki No donation is too small! We value all support for ICL! And if you have not given in the past, your donation can count extra. If we reach our goal of 30 new donors by December 31st, current donors will give ICL and additional $12,000! Every donation fuels your mission, but imagine the impact when an unexpected $10,000 gift arrives! 🌟 Bat Conservation International received several 'unexpected' high value gifts in their EOY appeal using Dataro's AI donor predictions. In fact, HALF the gifts received came from donors who would NOT have been included in their traditional segmentation selections. 🤯 By leveraging AI to inform their appeal selections, the charity secured an additional $48k in funding and achieved a campaign ROI of 490%. Well done Amy Dana, bCRE-Pro, CFRE and team! 👏👏👏 Check out the full case study here: https://bit.ly/45Cobet
