Notice Period vs Joining Period It’s an unfair game; a company having 3 months notice period expects employee from outside to join within a month. Notice period should be a win-win situation for both-employer & employee. Employee who would have served for years should impart detailed KT to fill the gap seamlessly; while employer should have faith and respect for the leaving employee and should co-ordinate to develop the good-will. Notice period is the time when an employee becomes more serious about his new opportunity and strives to hunt for the right fitting job to serve better and longer. So, the 3 months’ time of notice period should provide enough time to employee than making him hooked to old job for regular work until his last-working-day. Do you have any deviating thought on this topic?

3 ways to specify the end date of a fixed-term employment agreement: ▪ Project completion ("when X is finished") ▪ Specific event ("when Y returns from leave") ▪ Exact date (if known) Note: you don't need to know the exact end date if you choose option 1 or 2. So long as you know *how* it will end, you don't need to know exactly *when*.
