I do love the Mashgin self-checkouts. A chain of gas-stations got them near where I live and they're fantastic for the quick-checkout. Really great for solving the issue of bottlenecking at the checkout aisle. It's also really funny to think about because that chain of gas stations seems to be the first to have them in my area, but when I first moved here, that same chain had a POS system with a pretty bad race condition that would cause everything to freeze if you inserted your card before the reader told you to do so. Crazy how things can change in 5 years.
