One key figure who hasn’t received enough recognition in Arshad Nadeem's remarkable journey to winning gold for Pakistan is his coach, Salman Butt.
Salman Butt has been guiding Arshad for several years, bringing his wealth of experience from his days as a standout athlete at Aitchison College, where he shattered records. Although Salman never competed in the Olympics, he made his mark as a two-time silver medalist in the South Asian Games in 1989 and 1991.
For the past four years, Salman Butt has been instrumental in Arshad's success, helping him secure 2 golds and 1 silver before his Olympic triumph. Under Salman's mentorship, Arshad has now won 4 medals in total—3 gold and 1 silver—a testament to their hard work and dedication.
It's time we also celebrate the incredible efforts of Salman Butt in shaping Arshad into the champion he is today!

Chandu Champion: A Tale of Triumph Over Adversity
Inspired by the real-life story of Murlikant Petkar, India's first Paralympic gold medalist in 1972, "Chandu Champion" teaches us to fight against all odds and show the world that we can become champions.
The movie unfolds in mud pits, boxing rings, and swimming pools, but at its heart, it’s a celebration of destiny’s unpredictable game. Kartik Aaryan brings this story to life, reminding us of the euphoria that surrounds true triumph.
Told in flashback, we see a tiny Maharashtrian boy inspired by the victory of K. D. Jadhav, India’s first individual Olympic medalist. Despite being teased by his mates, taunted by his father, and underestimated by his coach, Murli’s life takes a pivotal turn when he defeats the village headman’s son, igniting a riot that forces him to leave his village.
"Chandu Champion" is a powerful reminder that people may mock you, and you might find yourself alone in the battle for your dreams, but you must never step back. Fight for your dream and prove those who doubted you wrong. Let the world see the champion within you.

Wow, what a moment in athletics!
Arshad Nadeem's record-breaking javelin throw of over 90 meters has left us speechless.
And Neeraj Chopra’s response? Equally impressive, but also a reminder that even the best can struggle under pressure.
I mean, think about it - Nadeem's throw didn't just set a new benchmark, it also put the spotlight on the intense pressure and competition in top-level sports.
And Neeraj's struggle to reach the 90-meter mark shows just how much mental toughness and resilience is required to compete at this level.
Nadeem's achievement and Neeraj's response have sparked a lively debate about the role of pressure, performance, and perseverance in achieving success!!
Overall, it’s a proud moment worth celebrating 🇮🇳🥈

"We are very happy with the silver, the one who got gold is also our child and the one who got silver is also our child....all are athletes, all work hard," #NeerajChopra's mom Saroj said. "There is no difference between Neeraj and Nadeem," she added.
After the Olympic win, Arshad's mother also echoed the similar sentiments and said, "He is also like my son. He is Nadeem's friend and also his brother. Wins and losses are part of the sport. May god bless him, may he win medals. They are like brothers, I've prayed for Neeraj too."
