On Wednesday, February 24th, I’m taking over the @unfoodsystems Instagram account. I’ll be posting about some of the ways I’ve been advocating for a stronger food system during this past bizarro pandemic year. Head over to https://lnkd.in/gAC92hu, give them a follow, and stay tuned!
What does a strong food system look like to you? I’d love to know.

Just how bad are the biggest polluters? And can taxes on the super rich solve the climate crisis? Our new report sheds light on these vital questions. 🔎
Fairly taxing the biggest polluters on our planet could be instrumental in financing a just transition and supporting communities who are on the frontlines of the climate crisis, despite being least responsible for it. 🌊

Skipping a meal is a moment to see the world as it is, look it squarely in the eye, and demand we do better. And across the world—from Gaza to East Africa to Yemen—the demand for a more equal world is growing.
For almost 50 years, Oxfam has encouraged people this time of year to pledge to Skip-A-Meal to draw attention to the plight of people worldwide affected by hunger. Start right now with a pledge to skip a meal and donate the cost to support the fight against hunger and inequality across the globe.

As a member of the Coalition for Sustainable Aquaculture, I’m backing the #SEAfood Act. It’s a responsible, transparent, science-based approach that’s good for the economy, good for consumers, and good for our ocean.
