When people ask why should Central Government invest in Northland? The Question should be why would you not want to invest in Northland? Northland has a large amounts of under-developed land, stunning scenery, native forests, rich in history, beautiful beaches that you can get lost in, and productive soils that you can grow virtually anything. Northland is also next to the largest concentrated population base for the country (Auckland). Northland hosts New Zealand's largest Natural Deep water sea port with the ability to expand, with amazing Solar, Wind and Geothermal energy generation potential, and hosts some of the leading edge industries in Engineering, Agriculture, Horticulture, Aquaculture and development in the Country. As someone who has travelled the world, and also grown up here in Northland, I can say "with hand on Heart", as a region we have produced some amazing businesspeople, sportspeople, artists, creatives, and volunteers. More per capita than any other region in New Zealand. Northland is the "Birth place of the Country!" Ultimately the question is why are you not investing in Northland now? https://lnkd.in/gCNhtu73
I agree. Huge potential. Let's keep working on making investing in Northland a financially viable and less red tape exercise to support that potential!
As a recent resident ex Auckland concur wholeheartedly.
I agree
Love it here!
Go in low… go in hard Vince!!
Agreed Vince.
As a Northland holiday maker my whole life, and now a business owner in Whangarei, I absolutely agree. There is so much more than people realise - even those of us that live here get pleasant surprises about what talent ans opportunity there is - both in business and for pleasure. Love it here!
