WATCH: Massive waterspout in Destin, Florida There are two types of waterspouts: fair-weather, and tornadic. Fair-weather waterspouts are essentially harmless, and can form even without a storm. Tornadic waterspouts are legitimate tornadoes born from a large scale mesocyclone that just happen to form or move over water, and they can be just as dangerous as any tornado. #MaritimeIndustry #Shipping #MarineTechnology #MaritimeInnovation #OceanTransportation #PortsAndTerminals #MarineEngineering #MaritimeLogistics #MaritimeTrade #NavalArchitecture #Seafarers #MaritimeSafety #Oceanography #MaritimeLaw #MarineEnvironment #MaritimeEducation #MaritimeHistory #Shipbuilding #MaritimeEconomics #MaritimeSecurity #CruiseShipDepartures #ThrusterControl #MaritimeMastery #JourneyOfDiscovery #PassionForTheSea
