Alysha joined Mariner earlier this year and quickly became a go-to person, thanks to her positivity and natural talent for making everyone feel at ease😄. Armed with a Psychology degree from UNB, Alysha knew she wanted to work closely with people and help them grow. “My background in psychology sparked my interest in understanding what motivates people🧠, which naturally led me to HR,” she says, “I’m passionate about fostering environments where individuals feel valued, supported, and motivated to excel🚀.” Now, as part of the People & Culture Team, Alysha is diving into a whole new set of responsibilities, bringing her signature enthusiasm to everything she does✅. From employee engagement to HR initiatives, and her favorite—onboarding new team members—Alysha is excited to meet all the talented folks joining Mariner👋. “It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet the amazing and talented individuals joining our team. I enjoy getting to know them, helping them feel welcomed, and building connections that contribute to the success of Mariner.” When asked what she loves most about Mariner, Alysha doesn’t hesitate: “It’s the collaboration and supportive environment, along with the opportunity to build strong relationships with colleagues🫶. Although I have only been with Mariner for a few months, I have nothing but positive things to say about the company and the incredible people here.” And when she’s off the clock? Alysha keeps things just as lively—staying active with softball and volleyball🥎🏐, enjoying outdoor walks, and, okay, maybe spending a little too much time playing Candy Crush 🍬and binging documentaries🎬(but who doesn’t?!).
