👉 This was the first HIMSS meeting held in Mexico, and it was a great success. I am part of this global organization, along with many leaders in the healthcare sector, who are committed to transforming the industry through technology and the power of information. With VivaWell, we are playing an important role in Mexico in pursuing this transformation. The event provided insight into various aspects of the digital transformation processes that medical institutions are undertaking and how Artificial Intelligence is and will impact the sector. We discussed tools and public policies, as well as the involvement of universities and scientists contributing to the necessary technological innovation strategies. ▶️ And, of course, the experience of Healthtech solutions was shared, with my participation in a panel focused on Innovation, where I discussed VivaWell. I shared the panel with GONZALEZ, FLOR IMELDA from Scitum SCILabs TELMEX, Verónica Ríos Apolonio from HOSPITAL GENERAL DE MEXICO, Oscar Gonzalez from GNP Seguros, Javier Pico Guzmán from SocialDiabetes, SL, José Manuel Talero García from KeyZell, and it was moderated by Jesus Hernandez Camacho from the Asociación HealthTech México. Thrilled to announce that today, my colleague Lubana Al Rayes and I presented our paper "Predicting Pre-Diabetic and Diabetes in Adults and Elderlies Using Machine Learning" at the Advances in Science and Engineering Technology (ASET) International Conference in Bioengineering, hosted by Higher Colleges of Technology in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This research utilizes machine learning algorithms to predict diabetes and pre-diabetes, aiming to enhance early diagnosis and treatment strategies. Our work demonstrates the power of AI in tackling global health challenges like diabetes. Special thanks to Dr. Imad Afyouni for his invaluable guidance and support throughout our research. We are excited that our findings will be part of the conference proceedings and look forward to contributing to ongoing advancements in bioengineering and healthcare technology. 🎆 That's a wrap! #4YFN24 has been a memorable one: more than 70 Catalan health companies and entities have participated in this edition, in which digital health has captured all attention. With a focus on #AI, 4YFN 2024 gathered 900 exhibitors from 170 countries. Amongst them, more than 70 were companies and startups from the #BioRegionCatalonia. #Biocat and the main actors in the #lifesciences and health ecosystem in Catalonia have played a significant role in this achievement: for the first time, they have joined forces to lead a pavilion dedicated to health innovation made in Catalonia.
