Longwood University's Call Me MiSTER Program hosted its first-ever MiSTER EXPERIENCE on Monday, March 25th. Over 40 juniors, seniors and a few freshmen from Mecklenburg, Prince Edward County, Cumberland, Lunenburg, and Va Beach schools attended the event. Students had the opportunity to learn about the program and hear an empowering message from Mister Alum Cainan Townsend, M.S.! The event was a great experience for all who attended! If you are leaving school soon, you will need to decide whether to stay on at your school’s sixth form or start college. Our courses are taught in learning environments that relate to specific job sectors working with animals, plants and the environment.

157 Southfield School, Kettering Year 11s and 30 staff are now on their way to Whitemoor Lakes Activity & Training Centre in Staffordshire for our annual 4 day revision/activity weekend.
This will be the ninth year that we have run this activity and each year, the majority of our students claim that this was one of the most successful activities in boosting their GCSE results in the core subjects.
Students also comment on how much fun they had and the lasting memories they created whilst there.
As part of our new Academy Trust and our ongoing collaboration with other schools, Kingsthorpe College and Moulton School & Science College will also be sending some of their students on the trip.
