Hi #Connections, While My PhD guide and mentor Dr. Vidya Prakash Hattangadi taught me the VUCA model of Leadership, I came across a new model developed by Jamias Cascio known as the BANI framework. It explains about the transition from VUCA to BANI. VUCA Enviornment V- Volatility U- Uncertainty C- Complexity A- Ambiguity BANI Enviornment B- Brittle A - Anxious N - Nonlinear I - Incomprehensible Vuca teaches how to deal with dynamics, Bani teaches how to deal with chaos and turbulence. This model was developed in 2020 and after that there have been many countries under this enviornment who were not able to cope with the adverse situations. Sri Lanka Pakistan Afghanistan Bangladesh Nepal Myanmar France Brazil United Kingdom Not naming the war struck countries* The recent microsoft outage can be called a BANI event.
