Pro Tip: There are hundreds of candidates applying to positions, so you have to set yourself apart. Don’t just hit apply and hope for the best. Make sure you have a good resume, do some research on each company, and connect with the hiring team. You can also “take care” of the other applicants. You can spend a lot less time trying to set yourself apart from everyone else if there is no one else. Small gestures can easily make candidates withdraw from the process. A threatening email, a flaming bag of poop at their front door, or the head of their favorite animal in their bed. After all, you can’t lose to another candidate if there are no other candidates.

Nnko Our biggest challenge is that interview panelists/employers structure their interview questions in a way that they aim to test if the interview candidate knows what they want to know instead of eagerly seeking to understand what the candidate knows! Anyway, the genesis of this starts in our examinations; they are structured in a way that covers a very small portion of what is taught in class, yet they are used to test our capacity and grade us. I wish that one day, students will enter the exam room for Biology and find only one question: "What have you learned in Biology?" Here is where we will discover how genius people are!

The job search triple-check you need ASAP 👀 ↓ ✔️ check if the contact info on your resume is correct ✔️ check out your junk folder for missed emails from recruiters ✔️ check if you attach the right versions of your resume to applications I can’t tell you how many times job seekers reach out to say they missed feedback after the interview because it landed in their junk folder or they accidentally submitted the wrong version of their resumes to the hiring team.
