Retail, Marketing, and Arts and Entertainment Professional focusing on strengthening brand visibility and customer loyalty through exceptional experiences.

As someone with a lifetime of exposure and experience in the theater and entertainment industry, let me tell you why working at Build-A-Bear Workshop is perfect for developing industry skills. 1) The theatrical industry is embracing interactive and immersive experiences more than ever before, and while improv games are fun, they don’t fully prepare you for real improv. Talking to a five year old about their life is the best “yes, and?” Training you’ll ever receive. 2)You want to get more comfortable with technical machinery? The stuffers have increased my confidence in motor-powered machinery ten-fold. 3)Theaters deal with a lot of emotional depth. Working with teddy bears and kids has healed my inner child in a way I didn’t think possible. 4) Build-a-Bear is about so much more than a regular retail position. It’s about the experience. And the character and role our Bear Builders play everyday may change from guest to guest, but they create an experience unlike anything else in the world. And that’s because they perform their role to bring the guests’ furry friends to life with a passion and excitement that has made Build-a-Bear.
