Space constraints? No problem!
Watch our FOCUS30 crane assemble vertically, taking up a compact 30m x 40m footprint. With its 2,500t lifting capacity and minimal ground bearing pressure, the crane is ideal for a wide range of lifts. Perfect for those tricky #construction and #maintenance projects where every inch counts.

Seeing how cranes and their lifting capacity/utility aspects have evolved.
In mid 80' Boskalis Barge Dirk was in Port of Colombo for a sewerage out-falls project. My company East West Enterprises were agents. There was vessel stranded in port because of lack of heavy lifting capability.
Approached Boskalis for a solution which they accepted to provide under contractual terms. The Dirk 600 ton Hitachi crane was able to jack-up on the off shore reach over plumb the heavy lift and load it on to suitable transport.
My brain child and successfull outcome acheived in a couple of hours.
Hans was the Barge Dirk Capt.
In simillar manner I have acheived many operational first in the port & also the region.
So! its astounding dissapointing demoralising when my Logistics, Supply Chain broad spectrum CV is not even considered when I apply for suitable roles.
Wonder what the rationale is when recruiting.
I will possibly die wondering
It is amazing seeing this video. This type and size of crane was the first for South Africa and I was very fortunate to be part of the project when it came to perform in Cape Town Harbour.
It truly was a phenomenal sight to see in person watching it operate. 😍

How does a ship lift work?
Honestly, before seeing this marvel of engineering, I didn't even know that ship lifts existed...
The Falkirk Wheel, named after the neighbouring town of Falkirk in central Scotland, is a rotating hydraulic boat lift, connecting the Forth and Clyde canal to the Union Canal.
The difference in height between the two basins at the point where the wheel was built is 24 metres, roughly equivalent to the height of an eight-storey building.
The Falkirk Wheel is a magnificent, mechanical marvel which has been constructed to 21st century, state-of-the-art engineering.
It is already being recognised as an iconic landmark worthy of Scotland's traditional engineering expertise.

Our metal structure design for the monorail crane is engineered to provide optimal strength, stability, and efficiency in material handling applications. The design incorporates high-grade steel with corrosion-resistant coatings to enhance durability and longevity.
Key features of our design include:
1. **Modular Framework**: The structure is designed in modular sections, allowing for easy transportation, assembly, and maintenance. This feature also accommodates various installation environments and configurations.
2. **Load Distribution**: Our design utilizes advanced engineering principles to ensure even load distribution across the structure, minimizing stress points and enhancing overall safety.
3. **Dynamic Stability**: The crane’s structure is equipped with reinforcement supports to withstand dynamic loads and vibrations during operation. This ensures smooth and safe movement of materials.
4. **Lightweight Materials**: While maintaining strength, we employ lightweight materials wherever possible to reduce the overall weight of the crane, leading to lower energy consumption and easier maneuverability.
5. **Customizable Options**: The design can be tailored to meet specific operational needs, including different span lengths, load capacities, and operational speeds.
6. **Safety Features**: Integrated safety mechanisms, such as overload sensors and emergency stop systems, are included to protect both the crane and the operators during operation.
By focusing on these elements, our metal structure design for the monorail crane aims to enhance operational efficiency, reduce maintenance costs, and improve safety standards in various industrial settings.

Why should operators risk accidents every time they get in and out of the cab?
Climbing onto the tracks is a compromise and with the TD-16N we don’t compromise.
Our rear access system significantly reduces the risk for the operators when getting in and out of the cab. It's integrated design and tough construction add safety without compromising the robustness and performance of the machine.
Did you know there's a boat that can never capsize no matter how cruel the sea gets?
It owes this marvelous feat to its engineering design. Watch the explainer video below.
What are your thoughts on this design?
Do you think that every marine transportation can become one of the safest means of transport if every marine vessel was built via this principle or ones modified for more efficiency?
